  • Dermolipoma
  • Non-pigmented naevus

Treatment

  • Topical lubricants for comfort
  • Refer to ophthalmology if symptomatic or amblyogenic

Advice

  • Reassure the patient and the parents. It is a normal tissue growing in the abnormal location

Management Category

  • Routine referral to ophthalmology if diagnosis is in doubt

  • Small dermoids can undergo simple excision
  • Larger lesions may require lamellar keratosclerectomy
